Meet Sensei Ramon
Sensei Ramon Correa is a 3rd Dan (Degree) Black belt in the art of Shiya-Do Karate out of the American Dojo, currently known as the Dojo. He trained and instructed Under Shihan Robert Hanssen for approximately 13 years. Sensei Ramon Started the Martial arts when he was 13 and achieved the rank of 1st Dan when he was 17 years old. From that point he reach his 3rd dan at the age of 20. Through The Dojo Sensei Ramon learned other martial arts such as judo and jiu-jitsu from many of the other instructors at The Dojo. In 2008 The Dojo expanded operations and opened a school in Windham, NY, Mountain Top Martial Arts with Sensei Ramon as one of the head instructors. Unfortunately the school was shut down in 2013. Martial arts helped shape Sensei Ramon into the person he is today and once again wishes to give back the to the community through martial arts. Sensei Ramon currently lives in Cairo, NY with his wife and son and many farm animals.
